Our Kiwa laboratory in Kaufbeuren has reached a significant milestone: We are proud to announce that we are now fully equipped and officially accredited to conduct comprehensive Functional Safety Testing. This accreditation under IEC 60730-1, Annex H ensures that we are at the forefront of safety standards for automatic electrical controls.

WE CREATE TRUST - for two years now, MPA Dresden GmbH has been part of the Kiwa Germany Group and thereby of the international Kiwa family. Starting as of August 1st, 2024, MPA Dresden will continue its reliable service in the field of fire protection as Kiwa MPA Dresden GmbH.

In January 2023, USDA published a new so-called Final Rule. It was a revision of the regulations of the National Organic Program (NOP). The focus is on the SOE (Strengthening Organic Enforcement). The SOE went into full effect March 19th, 2024. To give you a detailed overview of the Final Rule and its implementation, Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie GmbH is offering a webinar on the SOE on August 13th, 2024 (09:00a.m. CET).

Kiwa BCS ÖKO Garantie GmbH has been officially recognized by the European Commission as a control body in accordance with 2018/848. From 21st June 2024, Kiwa BCS ÖKO Garantie GmbH is authorized to carry out inspections and certifications in accordance with the latest EU regulations for organic production in more than 40 countries.

The USDA publishes the “New Final Rule” for the National Organic Program in the USA (kiwa.com), which requires all organic imports into the United States to be declared organic and accompanied by a NOP import certificate. This change will improve traceability and monitoring of organic imports into the United States, making fraud more difficult.

As an international organic control body Asia is a very important market for Kiwa BCS. The emergence of longer and more complex supply chains has made the need for more verification tools and methods necessary. The Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE) Final Rule requires that operations label nonretail containers with critical information that will help to prevent commingling of organic and non-organic products and contact with prohibited substances while supporting traceability and verification. The rule also clarifies how to calculate the percentage of organic ingredients in multi-ingredient products.

Biofach in Saudi Arabia brings together more than 15 countries under one roof. This is where the organic industry of the entire MENA region meets. Kiwa BCS-Öko Garantie has been active in Saudi Arabia for many years and with its expertise, enables certification according to the local organic standard OSKSA (Organic Standard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

Kiwa Rostock, a leading name in water quality testing, has received award-winning certification from the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) as a recognised laboratory. This recognition demonstrates Kiwa Rostock's commitment to the highest water quality and safety standards. WRAS recognition means that the laboratory meets strict criteria of competence and compliance to submit reports that are recognised as evidence of compliance with the Water Supply Regulations. Kiwa Rostock complies with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and can perform tests in various categories, including non-metallic materials in contact with drinking water.
